Why do you want to be a moderator on BCDOJRP? *
I'd like to be a moderator on BCDOJRP because of all the failRP I encounter when I am on the server. The server is a great server, however it gets a very bad reputation due to all the VDM and RDM that users commit on the server. I think adding another user to the staff team would just help in ridding of the failRP that goes on.
What experience, if any, do you have moderating? Are you currently staff on another server? If you have left a previous staff position on another server, explain why. Have you learned from your mistakes, if you had made any? *
I don't really have any experience on Fivem moderating a server. I do have a lot of experience moderating on servers in Minecraft however. A lot of those duties included dealing with issues with members and catching cheaters/modders.
What can you contribute to BCDOJRP? Why should we pick you over another applicant? *
I think what I can contribute to BCDOJRP is a fair staff team member. I know quite a bunch of users in the community of this server, but I would not let that bias me. I think they would agree that I would be fair when it came to issuing them warnings and punishments if they did break a rule. What makes me different over another applicant is I really strive to make sure people are following the rules. It upsets me when people break the rules and try to get away with it. I wouldn't stand for users breaking the rules and I think that's what makes me different.
How long have you been roleplaying? This includes games other than FiveM. Why do you like to roleplay? Explain in detail. *
I have been roleplaying for about a year now. I've only roleplayed on FiveM.
If someone was exploding cars, what would their punishment be? Explain in detail. *
If someone was exploding cars, instead of punishing them right away, I would first make an effort to speak to them and ask them why they were exploding the cars. The situation could be part of their roleplay scenario, so it's important to get all the details to a situation before enforcing punishment. If the user had no good reason, then I would warn them for their first offense, then a kick, and possibly a tempban if they continually were failrping.
If someone was threatening members with a DDOS Attack or other form of "Hacking," what would their punishment be? Explain in detail. *
At first I would try to defuse the situation rather than just banning on spot. I think most people would just ban on spot for this situation, but I don't think that necessarily has to be the case. I would talk to the user first and see if something upset them as I would find it odd that someone is threatening DDOS without a real motive. If they were threatening without motive, I would ban them as they are harassing users at that point. I would try to defuse the situation with the user if they had a motive such as someone VDMing them and probably end up giving them a tempban, but having them understand why as well as resolving their issue with another member and/or members.
If someone was threatening another player, but insisted it was part of a roleplay, what would you do? The victim is insisting they are being harassed.Explain in detail. *
I think this question is very similar to the DDOS attack one. I would still try to defuse the situation and figure out what the issue was. If there was no real issue and they're threatening for no reason, I would first kick them and if they persisted, they would get a tempban. I believe bans should only really be issued when a user refuses to learn from their mistakes.
What do you do on a daily basis in real life that could cause you to not be on the server at specific times? EX. (School, work, traveling)
On a daily basis, I try to go to the gym everyday. This is not always the case though. During the summer, I am free all day besides my time spent at the gym. I am a college student and when school starts I will be gone for 5 hours a day + time spent at the gym, but I usually am able to spend 4-5 hours per day on the server.
